A Vital Touch For Health
I’m so glad you’re here.
I am a registered nurse and licensed massage therapist.
I started Massage Is Therapy, LLC, in 2023, where I offer massage therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and post-op care.
I am trained on Vodder-method manual lymphatic drainage for the management of post plastic surgery procedures through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS).
I have completed several of Erik Dalton's Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques courses, and I am actively working towards Master Myoskeletal Therapist certification.
I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care to my clients.
Massage is a form of healthcare. In today’s society, many people are experiencing chronic stress, depression, or anxiety. Stress is known to wreak havoc on our overall health; it affects every area of our lives and bodies. From the inability to think clearly and make decisions, to gastrointestinal issues interfering with proper digestion of nutrients and elimination of waste, stress affects us in ways we may not even be aware of.
Massage, on the other hand, can be helpful in ways you may not have considered. For example, did you know that abdominal massage can be incorporated into any session as an effective treatment for constipation?
I firmly believe massage is a powerful preventive and health maintenance tool for people from all walks of life. Those leading active lifestyles and those with chronic conditions.
Here is a helpful reminder from AMTA:
"Massage is good medicine."
According to the American Massage Therapy Association, AMTA,
“Massage therapy is an effective and cost-efficient pain management approach. Massage therapy is a well-accepted nonpharmacological therapy for managing pain, including a variety of specific chronic pain issues.
It is recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and included in nonpharmacological pain guidelines issued by The Joint Commission,
as well as the American College of Physicians (ACP)
and the Federation of State Medical Boards.”

I invite you to schedule your first visit.
Feel free to book online, or contact me at (407) 242-4020.
I will need your full name, phone number, and e-mail.
Once scheduled, you will receive an intake form in your e-mail.
It is very important that you fill this out, as it provides pertinent information prior to your visit.
When you arrive at Massage Is Therapy, we will briefly review your intake form. I will ask questions to clarify your medical history, medications, and presenting symptoms, if necessary.
Based on your preference, you may remain dressed (athletic wear preferred) or undress to your level of comfort. You will be fully draped (covered) throughout the session.
Unless you decline, I usually incorporate heat, red light therapy, and aromatherapy. I will also ask about abdominal and face massage, as these areas are not normally included, but are of great benefit to some people.
I always encourage and remind my clients to please let me know if they are feeling discomfort or need to change position, etc.
Each session is about you and for your needs. I want to make it the best possible experience for us to achieve your desired outcome.
